Tena koutou katoa; Welcome to the Emergency Management Academy of New Zealand (EMANZ).

EMANZ is based in Palmerston North and is the premier national training provider for emergency management and technical rescue. We deliver over 150 courses throughout New Zealand each year to over 3,000 students.

Since November 2005 we have delivered training in partnership with Tai Poutini Polytechnic to the emergency management sector. We have delivered training throughout New Zealand, and we have been involved in projects in Indonesia, Nepal, Australia, Papua New Guinea, Thailand, Republic of Marshall Islands, British Columbia, United Arab Emirates and the United States of America – making us one of the most globally experienced emergency management institutions in New Zealand.

We only use emergency management professionals with real operational experience in civil defence emergency management situations.
